Our client, a well-regarded, mid-sized Auckland law firm, is looking to add a Senior Associate to their construction and infrastructure team. The team's work sits across the full project timeline, taking in early-stage contract guidance as well as the disputes that follow when projects run into difficulty. You'll get broad exposure across the practice, from live issues on active projects through to cost claims and defect-related disputes, so no two weeks look the same. You'll act as a trusted advisor to a broad client base, from contractors through to specialist subcontractors, with the backing of a genuinely experienced team around you.
What we are looking for
- A driven, ambitious lawyer who's keen to take on responsibility and keep developing.
- At least 5 years' PQE, with solid dispute resolution experience and High Court litigation exposure would all be relevant.
- Front-end construction experience is an advantage.
