I am an overseas-qualified solicitor. What do I need to do to be able to practice in NZ?

To practice as a solicitor in New Zealand, you first need to apply to the New Zealand Law Society to have your qualifications assessed. Following this assessment, you may be required to obtain further qualifications, and/or pass specified examinations.

For more information on this, visit the New Zealand Law Society website. You may also like to find how to immigrate by visiting theImmigration New Zealand  website.
